Surprisingly stretchy bind-off

Post in English

I feel like I've been missing out on something completetly here! I'm serious. This is going to be a revolution to my sweaters, and especially to kids sweaters that tend to need more stretch around the neck than the usual bind-off gives. How could I have missed this?!

Det känns som jag fullständigt missat nånting här! Seriöst. Det här kommer revolutionera mina tröjor, och särskilt då barntröjorna som oftast blir lite för tighta i nacken av vanlig avmaskning. Hur kan jag ha missat det här?!

Productivity...

Post in English
In lack of time to update this blog more frequently, here are some of my work the past year.

Post in Swedish
I brist på tid för att uppdatera bloggen lite mer regelbundet så kommer här en del av mina projekt från det senaste året. Skriver bara på engelska nedan, eventuella svenska läsare får stå ut med det.

Vest for a 4-year old with traditional Swedish Berså pattern.

Have made a whole bunch of these owls in different colors and sizes! Probably 10-15 or so by now!

This sweater, Veturlidi, was made into a pattern that is out for sale. You can find it here.

This lovely little boy was born back in June or July, and got this green little cardigan in soooft eco alpaca yarn. His name is Henning, and by now he's already starting to outgrow it!

Made this alpaca hat with alpacas on for my language school student Ester (who is obviously obsessed with alpacas)!

Neck scarf/cowl, a Burberry look-a-like! Made in eco alpaca.

Lopapeysa for my lovely girlfriend. :)

Lovikka mittens for a colleague's son.

The past Christmas, ALL of my family members got their own pair of knitted socks. Left to right: my sister, my sister's boyfriend (they're actually dark green although they look brown), my mum, me, my dad.

A sweater for a customer, will make it into a pattern!

I pretty much never knit for myself, but this one is actually for me! From a traditional Icelandic lopi pattern (Lopi 120)

This one has been waiting on the shelf for the last finish for 2 (!) years! Finally got around to get it done.

A pretty productive year, to summarize it!
